Mike Billings is a New York City-based lighting and scenic designer.
He is lighting designer for The Prince of Egypt, based on the 1998 Dreamworks animated feature, which premiered at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley and Fredericia Teater in Denmark, and will be opening on the West End at the Dominion Theatre in February 2020.
Across the United States, Mike has most notably designed at the Bay Street Theater, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Rubicon Theatre Company, Laguna Playhouse, Guild Hall, American Theater for Actors (NYC), Quintessence Theatre Co., Spirit of Broadway Theatre, The Gallery Players, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Bated Breath Theatre, and Dorset Theatre Festival. He has also designed the lighting for themed attractions at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
Mike was nominated in 2016 for two LA Ovation Awards for his lighting and scenic design for the Rubicon Theatre Company's production of See Rock City, as well as a 2017 LA Ovation Award Nomination for his lighting design for Gulf View Drive.
